I've been detoxing my wardrobe lately and next to the fact that it's nice to have a neat closet, it always helps finding out what your staples are. These are my current favorites:


1. Striped top with see-through insert at back
If you check out my outfits every now and then, I'm sure you are aware of the fact that I am a big fan of everything striped. I especially have a soft spot for the classic breton stripe. This top has that kind of stripe, only with a fun twist. H&M Trend

2. Metallic belt
Perfect for matching with a pair of leather pants. I am really into simple outfits and spicing up outfits with cool accessories always helps making the look a bit more interesting. I found this in a vintage store once, for just 2 euros. The metal is pretty heavy and I love the antique metal shade. Vintage

3. Tortoise sunnies with rounded frames
I have a whole bunch of sunglasses but funny enough I opt for these tortoise sunnies 99 percent of the time. The shade of the glass filters the light beautifully, giving everything an instant summer glow. Even in mid winter. H&M

4. Lipsticks in pink shades
Not being the biggest connoisseur of make-up and beauty stuff, I rarely buy something new. I simply loved  the color and decided to try them out. Ever since, they've become my going out essentials for spring and summer. Catrice

5. Tiny necklace with a heart shaped pendant
 What can I say, I am a sucker for dainty necklaces. Modemusthaves

6. Chanel "chance au fraiche"
I love the fresh, yet soft scent and all bottles of Chanel fragrances are just too pretty not to buy. Chanel

7. White Converse All Stars
I don't think there's ever gonna be a pair of white sneakers which I'd prefer over these. No, not even Stan Smith's. Converse

8. Cross body bag with chain strap
My favorite bag at the moment definitely is this little black fella with chain strap. It honestly goes with everything that's in my wardrobe. Looking back I see that I've indeed been wearing it a lot. Mango
