Hot or Not: Breton Stripes

To me (trend or no trend) breton stripes are an absolute holy grail and I own far too many lots of them. I, as many others, look at the breton stripe as a good ol' classic. It kept turning back year after year, collecting a famous fan base. All thanks to Coco Chanel, who turned the "fishermen" stripe in to something rather fashionable.
It's a perfect wardrobe staple to mix and match with everything, from basics to prints. Still, I am really curious about what you think of the stripe. Do you love it as much as I do? Or would you never wear it? In other words: Hot or Not?
