Today's hot or not post is all about the culottes. Did you know the word "culotte" is of French origin? They used to be men trousers back in the days, with a tight fit and ending right below the knee. They became a commonly worn garment in the army later on. When women first started wearing culottes, it was because of the fact that they were both elegant as functional.
Today the culottes are referred to as those wide leg short(er) pants, usually made out of a soft, flowy fabric. It seems like after our tops, it is now time for our pants to get cropped. What do you think? Would you wear a pair?
